Job summary

V2X Inc is hiring a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic Inspector to inspect and troubleshoot a range of equipment, including tractors, generators and lifts, in support of military and commercial operations. The role requires a high school diploma and security clearances, with proficiency in MS Office and G-ARMY systems.

Work is on-site at Fort Bragg installation, with potential travel up to 10% and a focus on accuracy, safety, and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
• Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance, in-process and final inspections on equipment and components.
• Inspect and test wheeled and commercial equipment to verify serviceability and operation.
• Use G-Army and standard computer tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and accountability of property at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Team Lead or Supervisor.
