Job summary

V2X, Inc. is seeking a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic Inspector to inspect and troubleshoot a range of wheeled and commercial equipment, perform TI for Turn In Documents, and ensure safety and compliance. Candidates should have 5–10 years of automotive/general equipment maintenance experience and be able to obtain required clearances.

The role requires proficiency with computer systems (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and G-ARMY, with a 40-hour week and travel up to 10% when mission demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must hold REAL ID driver’s license without restrictions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NACI Tier 1 Public Trust and CAC.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship and Fort Bragg driving privileges required.
• 5–10 years of automotive/general equipment maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections (acceptance, in-process, final) on equipment.
• Inspect and test wheeled and commercial equipment (tractors, generators, forklifts, etc.).
• Diagnose faults and determine repair scope; use G-Army system as needed.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and environmental compliance.
• Operate various tools and manage maintenance documentation.
