Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a GSE Mechanic I at the Philadelphia airport to repair and maintain ground support equipment. You will handle motorized and non-motorized devices, troubleshoot systems, log work, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

The role requires 1–2 years of verified experience, own tools, and a valid driver's license. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen; FAA/RAIC/TSA credentials eligibility is noted. Evening shift coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• 1-2 years of verified experience
• Must provide own tools and toolbox
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Effective English communication (reading, writing, speaking)
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Credential eligibility (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain motorized and non-motorized Ground Service Equipment (GSE) such as tugs, belt loaders, pushbacks, trucks, and more
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems per manufacturer guidelines and safety standards
• Log repair work and track parts
• Operate and test ground equipment for performance
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies
• Complete associated paperwork and support other team members
