Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. in Miami seeks an experienced aviation maintenance technician to service and repair aircraft ground support equipment and related systems.

You will inspect, troubleshoot, and overhaul engines, hydraulics, electrical systems and transmissions, using your own tools, and ensure all work complies with safety regulations. The role requires flexibility to cover night, weekend and holiday shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Must provide their own tools and toolbox.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Ability to access and interpret information, including electronic devices.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Airline environment requires shift flexibility, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Service equipment with fuel, water, oil, hydraulics and compressed air.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions and electrical systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues per guidelines and safety regulations.
• Remove, test or replace components and track parts; complete paperwork.
• Adhere to safety procedures and PrimeFlight standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
