Job summary

Signature Aviation in Hawaii seeks an experienced GSE Mechanic to inspect, repair and overhaul ground support equipment. You will perform diagnostics, service fluids, and maintain logs while ensuring safety and reliability in operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED plus 1 year experience, tools, a valid driver’s license, and may hold vocational certifications or ASE. Prior GSE exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus one year experience or equivalent.
• Prior GSE or heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Must have your own tools and a valid driver’s license.
• Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a definite plus.
• Valid ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain ground support equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair or overhaul GSE.
• Check and service equipment with fluids.
• Diagnose problems using test equipment and manuals.
• Build and assemble machines or components.
• Inspect machinery and run diagnostics.
• Perform maintenance for reliability.
• Keep logs of work and report issues.
• Complete GSE paperwork as required.
