Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Seattle, WA is seeking an experienced GSE Manager to oversee the maintenance and efficiency of the ground support fleet. You will lead preventive maintenance, track fleet expenses, and ensure safety and compliance at our on-site facility.

This role requires five years of mechanical maintenance experience with supervisory responsibilities, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. You must also pass a drug test and a federal background check to join our team.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent, preferably with college-level courses in mechanical engineering, business administration, transportation management, and business management.
  • Five years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair in an industrial vehicle operation, including two years in an administrative or supervisory capacity.
  • Must be able to maximize fleet utilization and ensure maximum shop productivity.
  • Must be able to lift continually up to 70lbs
  • Must pass a drug test and a federal background check
  • Must have own tools

Role Purpose

This role is responsible for the primary service that depends on well-maintained vehicles, organization and tracking of the fleet and expenses within the company. The GSE manager will have the ability to accurately maintain and hold responsibility for an exceptional level of quality of all ground support equipment in the company and ensuring all work is performed safely and is supported by established procedures and protocols.
