Menzies Aviation in Charlotte, NC seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to repair and rebuild airport service vehicles including trucks, carts, hydrant trucks and fueling equipment. Qualifications

  • All mechanics may perform tasks of other positions as needed for operation.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles and repair gas/diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on refueling equipment; maintain records.
  • Ensure preventive care to equipment and timely repairs for operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment according to health, safety and security policies.
  • Able to perform accident inspections on involved equipment.

Role Purpose

This role is responsible for the safe and efficient repairing and rebuilding of airport service vehicles. These vehicles include but are not limited to support trucks, stationary carts, tankers, and hydrant trucks. You will be required to inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

The maintenance team ensures our aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing proper preventive care for equipment and timely repairs to broken equipment ensuring all work are performed safely and is supported by following established procedures and protocols.

What you will be doing:

What we are looking for:

  • All mechanics are required to perform all duties of the other positions, as needed do to operational need; Example: a Level I Mechanic may need to perform tasks of a Level III when directed
