Job summary

Atlas Air Worldwide seeks an experienced supervisor to manage maintenance for company vehicles and Ground Service Equipment. You will coordinate inspections, oversee repairs, and work with vendors to ensure zero downtime during operations.

You will apply your knowledge of GSE systems and safety regulations to support our global cargo and passenger operations, while maintaining accurate asset records and schedules.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical college degree or equivalent in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Ground Service Equipment used in airline operations.
• Familiar with ground and cargo operations including Loadmaster tasks and related safety.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for company vehicles and Ground Service Equipment (GSE) to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Provide high level of service to departments while controlling maintenance costs.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotes and service availability for GSE maintenance.
• Oversee inspections and repairs for company vehicles and GSE.
• Maintain and update drivers and vehicle lists.
• Schedule preventive maintenance per OEM standards.
• Maintain asset inventory and regulatory compliance.
