Job summary

United Ground Express, Inc. is seeking an GSE Maintenance Supervisor to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on ground support equipment and facilities. You will lead a team, communicate with customers, and ensure asset management and policy compliance.

The role requires reading schematics, tool ownership, and the ability to work a non-traditional schedule, including weekends and holidays. Travel up to 35% is possible.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as heavy/medium/light duty mechanic.
• Ability to read electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Must have own set of hand tools.
• Ability to work non-traditional schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Knowledge of Excel or reporting.
• Travel up to 35%.
• Knowledge of equipment data collection systems.

Responsibilities

• Represent United Ground Express in meetings with Sr Leadership on financial/reliability performance.
• Perform maintenance and repair of GSE and facilities.
• Asset management reporting and data entry in systems.
• Lead, train, and mentor GSE Mechanics.
• Read and interpret repair manuals and schematics.
• Work in tight spaces with PPE and fall protection.
• Assist in developing training materials and manuals.
• Conduct training and orientation for the Station’s programs.
• Follow company and federal policies and procedures.
• Use a computer for communications and administrative tasks.
• Complete safety trainings as assigned.
