Job summary

Swissport International in the United States is seeking a Fleet Mechanic Supervisor to manage daily shop operations, guide maintenance staff, and ensure safety and quality in all GSE repairs. You will oversee preventive maintenance, coordinate with ramp and operations, train staff, and maintain inventory and budgets while holding a valid driver’s license and a Heavy/Diesel/Automotive certification.

Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years' experience in GSE/Fleet Maintenance.
• Experience in a supervisory role.
• Valid driver's license.
• Certification in Heavy duty/Commercial or Automotive mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental activities at the station.
• Supervise daily operation of the shop.
• Perform all responsibilities of a Fleet Mechanic.
• Review and modify Preventive Maintenance schedules for fleet vehicles.
• Assist with inventory and budgetary control and parts orders.
