Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years mechanical experience or graduates of technical schools.

  • Must be comfortable lifting/moving 70lbs.
  • All mechanics may perform duties of other positions as needed.
  • High School Diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and identify defective parts and repair gas/diesel engines and hydraulic/electrical/mechanical systems.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on refueling equipment.
  • Provide preventative care to equipment for aircraft services team.
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment per safety policies.
  • Able to perform accident inspections on involved equipment.

Role Purpose

This role is responsible for the safe and efficient repairing and rebuilding of airport service vehicles. These vehicles include but are not limited to support trucks, stationary carts, tankers, and hydrant trucks. You will be required to inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

The maintenance team ensures our aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing proper preventive care for equipment and timely repairs to broken equipment ensuring all work are performed safely and is supported by following established procedures and protocols.

What you will be doing:
  • Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling and mechanical systems.
