Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years mechanical experience or graduates of technical schools.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must possess valid US driver’s license.
  • Must be comfortable lifting/moving 70lbs.
  • All mechanics are required to perform duties of other positions when needed.
  • HS Diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience/training.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles and repair gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on refueling equipment and maintain records.
  • Ensure aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing preventative care and timely repairs.
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment per health, safety, and security policies.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual quality control checks on the equipment.
  • Conduct accident inspections on involved equipment.

Role Purpose

This role is responsible for the safe and efficient repairing and rebuilding of airport service vehicles. These vehicles include but are not limited to support trucks, stationary carts, tankers, and hydrant trucks. You will be required to inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

The maintenance team ensures our aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing proper preventive care for equipment and timely repairs to broken equipment ensuring all work are performed safely and is supported by following established procedures and protocols.

What you will be doing:
  • Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling and mechanical systems.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on the refueling equipment, maintain records relating to maintenance.
  • Ensure our aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing proper preventative care to equipment and timely repairs to broken equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures, aassuring a clean and safe working environment
  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual quality control checks on the equipment
  • Able to perform an accident inspection on involved equipment

What we are looking for:
