Job Overview

We help others come unto Christ by serving members, leaders, and employees globally in a simple and efficient way. The Global Tech Support Generalist supports desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, software, operating systems, and related policies and procedures. Serving as the initial point of contact, this role gathers and analyzes information about user issues to provide solutions for hardware, installation, operation, configuration, and policy questions. The role requires responding to customer inquiries accurately and promptly via phone, email, and electronic messages.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the first contact for customers via phone, email, or chat, providing technical support for hardware, systems, and applications.
  • Assist with navigating application menus and remotely troubleshooting customer issues.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity problems, working with remote employees on various networks.
  • Build and maintain productive customer relationships, focusing on customer needs.
  • Record all interactions in the CRM system and escalate complex issues to specialists when necessary.
  • Perform tasks under general supervision.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
  • 0-2 years of technical support experience.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese (reading, writing, speaking) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, network troubleshooting, Active Directory, and Windows OS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service skills.
Additional Information

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week). Due to current hybrid work arrangements, the employee is required to work in the Riverton office once a week or more, depending on business needs, and must reside nearby.
