Job summary

SCS Global Services is seeking experienced freelance auditors to conduct Textile Exchange audits across the United States. Auditors will perform on-site and remote assessments of manufacturers, processors, recyclers, and other supply chain actors, with a focus on recycled content and traceability.

Qualified candidates must already be approved by Textile Exchange for GRS or MMS and possess strong technical writing skills to document findings and prepare reports in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Active Textile Exchange qualification required (GRS or MMS)
• Experience auditing Textile Exchange standards within accredited certification systems
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to travel within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site and remote Textile Exchange audits per scheme rules
• Evaluate supply chain traceability and recycled content claims
• Prepare audit reports and maintain supporting documentation
• Communicate with clients and program staff effectively
• Meet milestones and deadlines for audits
