Job summary

SCS Global Services Europe is seeking experienced freelance auditors to conduct Textile Exchange audits across Europe and neighboring regions. Auditors will assess recycled content claims and supply chain traceability, performing audits in accredited certification systems following scheme requirements and SCS procedures.

Assignments may include on-site and remote audits of manufacturers, processors, recyclers, traders, and other supply chain actors.

Qualifications

• Active qualification for one or more Textile Exchange standards (GRS, RCS, CCS, MMS)
• Demonstrated experience conducting Textile Exchange audits within accredited certification systems
• Familiarity with Textile Exchange audit procedures, certification processes and reporting expectations
• Professional fluency in English
• Ability and willingness to travel within Europe

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site and remote audits against Textile Exchange standards in accordance with scheme rules and SCS procedures
• Evaluate supply chain traceability, recycled content claims, and relevant production processes
• Collect objective evidence and assess compliance with applicable program requirements
• Prepare accurate and timely audit reports and supporting documentation
• Communicate professionally with SCS program staff and client representatives
• Support the documentation and closure of audit findings and corrective actions
• Maintain auditor competence and stay current with Textile Exchange program requirements
