Job summary

Oliver Wyman seeks a Senior Manager, Growth and Strategic Initiatives in Chicago to drive growth priorities across IAM and OWA, joining senior leaders to shape strategy and oversee acquisition targets and integration efforts.

The role requires strong program management, analytical rigor, and exceptional communication in a matrix organization. Hybrid work with three days in the office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years working directly with or supporting C‑suite or senior leadership teams.
• Prior experience in M&A, corporate development, transaction diligence or post‑merger integration; direct transaction execution experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary business‑side coordinator for inorganic growth initiatives across IAM and OWA.
• Identify and research acquisition and investment targets across practices and geographies.
• Lead development of the business‑side strategic rationale and business case, including key risks and synergies.
• Project manage the due diligence process on potential targets and coordinate with Corporate Development.
• Coordinate integration plans across Finance, HR, Legal, IT, Marketing and Operations.
