Job summary

Providence Alaska seeks a Director Strategy & Planning to lead growth initiatives across the service area, develop service line strategies, and build business cases for facilities, clinical programs, and physician practices.

You will partner with operational, clinical, and community leaders to guide strategic projects, support business development, partnerships, and external collaborations, and translate strategy into actionable plans that improve care delivery and performance.

Qualifications

Master's degree in health administration, MBA or related field.
5 years of general healthcare experience, including 3 years in a leadership capacity.
10+ years of healthcare experience or service line management (preferred).

Responsibilities

Lead strategic planning for Providence Alaska Service Area, developing service line strategies and business cases.
Support business development activities, partnerships, and external collaborations.
Provide guidance to service area leaders and teams in assessing strategic initiatives.
Coordinate cross‑service area efforts to ensure cohesive strategic planning across the Division and System.
