Job summary

Care.com is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead pricing and growth engineering. You will manage a full-stack team of 10–12 engineers building pricing rules, packaging, promotions, and growth experiences across web and mobile.

You will align with Product, Finance and Data to drive measurable business outcomes, present strategy to executives, stay hands-on in code reviews, and build an event-driven architecture while promoting security, observability and scalability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams as an Engineering Manager or Team Lead.
• Track record delivering growth, pricing, monetization, subscription or checkout work in a consumer-facing product.
• Experience running experiments and using data to decide what to build next.
• Strong hands-on full-stack skills; familiarity with Java or Golang; AWS and microservices are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10–12 full-stack engineers responsible for pricing, packaging, promotions and growth experiences across web and mobile.
• Set the technical roadmap for pricing and growth with cross-functional partners; tie priorities to measurable business outcomes.
• Present strategy, progress and results to executives; discuss tradeoffs and risks.
