Job summary

Homebase is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Growth, to own and scale onboarding and activation for customers. You’ll define strategy, vision, and execution for first 30 days, accelerating time-to-value and long-term engagement in a data-rich, AI-first environment.

This high-visibility role demands strong PLG expertise, experimentation, and cross-functional influence to drive revenue growth and improve activation metrics across business owners and employees.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management, with growth/onboarding/activation focus.
• Proven ownership of PLG funnels: signup, onboarding, activation, freemium/trial to paid.
• Hands-on with behavioral analytics tools and funnel reporting.
• Experience shipping AI-powered product features and evaluating AI outputs.
• Strong cross-functional influence with engineering and design.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end first 30-day customer experience and roadmap for onboarding and activation.
• Drive signup-to-activation conversion across the funnel (pre-trial, freemium, paid).
• Design self-serve onboarding, in-product guidance, checklists, tours, and contextual tips to reach the aha moment faster.
• Own and improve growth metrics: activation rate, trial-to-paid, time-to-value, CAC.
• Lead A/B testing and rapid iteration using analytics tools (Amplitude, Statsig).
• Define and execute an AI-first onboarding strategy.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and GTM to align PLG with revenue goals.
• Collaborate on lifecycle messaging and in-product nudges to re-engage trial users.
• Develop freemium optimization strategies to convert free users to paid.
