Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years’ work experience in a nonprofit organization setting.
• Minimum of three years’ work experience in government relations, advocacy, or education/youth development funding.
• Demonstrated ability to work in communities where diverse populations reside.
• Demonstrated ability in developing relationships for growth initiatives.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Valid California driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation required for regular travel to meetings and events throughout the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area.

Aufgaben

• Identify, evaluate, and pursue growth opportunities with schools, municipalities, and community partners in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan.
• Lead business development activities, including presentations and negotiations with public officials, education leaders, businesses, and prospective partners.
• Establish and lead interagency partnerships across education, youth services, workforce development, economic development, and public funding to coordinate services and resources.
• Analyze target communities, maintain a strategic partnership pipeline, and recommend expansion or program-enhancement opportunities based on community needs, organizational capacity, and potential impact.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with community-based and faith-based organizations, neighborhood associations, advocacy groups, businesses, and public officials in current and prospective service areas.
