Job summary

Hatzel & Buehler Inc is seeking a Business Development Associate to seek new business opportunities, contact potential customers, and develop relationships. You will initiate exploratory calls to offer Hatzel & Buehler’s services and generate leads to grow the sales pipeline.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and a proven sales background, with strong communication, cold calling, prospecting, and CRM skills. Office-based in Hauppauge, NY with standard work hours Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
• Proven track record in sales or business development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in cold calling, prospecting, and lead qualification.

Responsibilities

• Qualify leads generated from marketing campaigns as potential sales opportunities.
• Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calls and emails to generate interest and secure meetings.
• Nurture and develop relationships with existing leads to facilitate the closing of sales.
• Manage the client database to ensure accurate and timely information is available to the sales team.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within a specified geographical area.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with key partners to explore and capitalize on business development opportunities.
• Assist in determining pricing strategies based on market analysis and client feedback.
