Job summary

Cogentanalytics is seeking a Business Development Executive in Amarillo, TX to generate profitable new business by identifying and closing commercial printing opportunities. You will build relationships with prospective customers, understand their printing and marketing needs, and present solutions that deliver long-term value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent sales experience.
• Minimum three years of outside B2B sales experience.
• Commercial printing or related industry experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success in prospecting and developing new business.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office applications.

• Identify and pursue new commercial printing opportunities.
• Prospect through networking, referrals, cold calling, email campaigns, and community involvement.
• Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Schedule and conduct customer meetings and facility visits.

• Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships.
• Understand customer business objectives and recommend appropriate printing solutions.
• Maintain regular communication with key decision-makers.
• Gather complete job requirements from customers.
• Work with Account Representatives to prepare estimates and proposals.
• Ensure accurate transfer of customer expectations to internal staff.
• Participate in customer proof reviews and project discussions when appropriate.
• Assist in resolving customer concerns or production issues.
• Maintain accurate prospect and customer information in the company's CRM.
• Record all customer activities, opportunities, and follow-up actions.
• Manage sales opportunities through the entire sales cycle.
• Prepare sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
• Meet or exceed established activity and sales goals.
