Job summary

Sares Regis Group Residential of Newport Beach, CA, seeks a Maintenance Technician I for our Palo Alto community. The role covers turnover and renovations, plus responding to service requests to keep the property in top condition.

Must have 2–3 years across trades, strong customer service, and ability to interpret orders. Weekend work may be required; company offers a competitive package and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience across trades (electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, appliances, etc.).
• Knowledge and continued education of OSHA requirements; MSDS knowledge relevant to scope.
• Ability to read and interpret service orders and documents.

Responsibilities

• Turnover and renovation work; respond to maintenance service requests.
• Internal and external repairs (drywall, painting, plumbing, appliances, boilers, HVAC).
• Emergency and after-hours coverage as required.
• Operate machine tools to repair or fabricate parts, jigs and fixtures.
• Fabricate and repair cabinets and wooden structures.
• Maintain inventory and related paperwork.
• Keep storage facilities and equipment orderly.
