Job summary

Edward Jones in the United States is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to partner with financial advisors and clients to deliver personalized financial strategies. You will source new clients, build relationships, and contribute to the practice’s growth in a collaborative, client‑focused environment.

The role includes ongoing financial planning, modeling scenarios, and ensuring recommendations align with client goals.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree, equivalent professional experience, or a background in financial services or related fields.
Experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management with strong interpersonal skills.
Self-motivation and goal orientation; capable of working in a performance-driven environment.
Clear communication; ability to simplify complex concepts for clients.
Willingness to obtain Series 7, Series 66, and state licenses within three months; licensing sponsored by Edward Jones.
Comfort using financial planning software and digital engagement tools.

Responsibilities

Build and deepen client relationships by supporting discovery conversations and planning.
Support comprehensive financial planning by analyzing scenarios and aligning investments.
Guide portfolio strategy and implement proposals in line with guidance.
Collaborate with the advisor and team to monitor progress and adjust plans.
Contribute to growth through outreach, referrals, and community engagement.
