Job summary
gpac is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Executive in Illinois to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will ensure accurate policy updates, coordinate between clients, producers, and carrier underwriters, and drive growth in the commercial portfolio.
You will manage marketing and quoting for new business and renewals, maintain renewal information, and communicate effectively with agency clients and carrier representatives.
Qualifications
- Hold a valid Property & Casualty Insurance license.
- 3–5 years experience in an independent agency or retail brokerage.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage and rating.
- Proven experience with carrier underwriters and multiple carriers.
- Familiarity with online rating software and carrier systems.
- Proficiency with insurance software such as Applied TAM, EPIC or AMS360.
- Competence in Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Existing book of business is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Policy management: input policy updates and account info accurately.
- Interact with clients, producers, and carrier underwriters for inquiries.
- Lead marketing and quoting for new business and renewals.
- Oversee renewal information and timelines.
- Maintain timely, clear communication with clients and carriers.
- Contribute to new business development.
