Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in banking, finance or a related field plus 2+ years in commercial lending or related experience.
• Knowledge of commercial loans, credit analysis, lending, processing and closing.
• Ability to expand loans, relationships and cross-sell bank products.
• Strong sales ability is required.
• Experience in interviewing and perceptive judgment skills.
• Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets.
• Manages a small to medium commercial portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for growth, retention and expansion of a portfolio of existing Business Banking clients.
• Sources new customers through referrals and cross-sells to promote deposits.
• Seeks quality new business through client calls, referrals and cross-selling.
• Recommends suitable solutions as a trusted advisor to meet client objectives.
• Meets assigned revenue goals for region and products.
• Gains knowledge of business and personal needs of assigned customers.
• Visits client locations regularly and develops relationship plans for each client.
• Ensures client requests are met directly or via appropriate resources.
• Meets or exceeds KPI in portfolio growth, profitability, retention and customer satisfaction.
