Job summary

Save A Lot - Ascend Grocery LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to ensure an excellent shopping experience and drive sales growth. You will lead the store team, uphold operational standards, and support the Store Manager in achieving store goals.

The role requires leadership, two years of management experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. The company offers health benefits, training, and opportunities for advancement, with full-time scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic experience with electronic technology and communications.
• Minimum of two (2) years of management experience.
• Experience in scheduling, merchandising, budgeting and expense control preferred.
• Leadership/training experience preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, coaching and development to store team members.
• Creates a safe and positive store environment for customers and staff.
• Assists store manager with creating weekly schedules.
• Leads the store in the manager’s absence including opening/closing.
• Coordinates building maintenance and upkeep.
• Supports progressive disciplinary actions as required.
• Communicates with stakeholders across the store and district managers.
