Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Madison, CT to assist the General Manager with daily store operations. You will supervise hourly staff, ensure cash handling integrity, and maintain accurate inventory records while upholding company policies and store standards.

Responsibilities include banking tasks, payroll support, and maintaining safety, sanitation, and guest service excellence. Flexibility for day, night, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day store operations under the General Manager.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees; uphold operational standards.
• Monitor cash handling and inventory; maintain cashier accountability.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other admin duties per cash control policies.
• Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with guidelines.
• Coordinate gasoline deliveries and engage in promotions and guest service initiatives.
