Job summary

Global Partners LP in Newtown, CT seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the general manager with daily store operations, uphold cash control and inventory standards, and promote a high level of guest service.

The ASM will supervise hourly staff, complete required accounting paperwork, assist with banking, scheduling, and safety compliance, and participate in promotional initiatives to drive sales.

Uniform standards, clean facilities, and adherence to company policies are expected.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, train and discipline hourly employees; uphold operational standards.
• Monitor shift cash handling and inventory.
• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Assist in banking, invoicing, payroll, and other admin duties as requested.
• Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with policies.
