Job summary

Southland Industries in Vancouver, WA is seeking an entry-level Associate Accountant - Accounts Payable (Temporary) to support corporate AP functions. The role processes AP transactions with high accuracy and speed, handling approximately 150 invoices daily while adhering to company policies and procedures.

You will work under established controls, manage invoice intake, and ensure proper approvals, documentation, and data entry across our ERP system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Basic understanding of full cycle accounts payable.
• Willingness to learn quickly and grow within the department.
• 1–3 years AP experience, including one year in full cycle AP environment.

Responsibilities

• Process routine AP invoices including two/three-way match and overhead invoices.
• Review invoices for completeness and ensure required documentation/approvals.
• Enter invoice information accurately into ERP and AP systems.
• Route invoices for approval and assist with AP workload as needed.
• Follow internal controls, policies, and procedures.
