Fastenal's Warren, OH branch is seeking a full-time Supply Chain Associate to manage inventory and support B2B procurement and quoting, helping meet customer needs and drive branch success.

You will perform procurement tasks, estimate prices, coordinate resources, and support accounts receivable; occasional deliveries with company vehicle may be required; on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older and eligible to work in the US.
• Possess or are pursuing a degree in Business or related field OR have customer service or industry experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and proficient computer skills.
• Detail oriented with strong math, organization and time management abilities.
• Must demonstrate problem solving, initiative and teamwork, and pass drug screen where required.

OVERVIEW: Embark on a dynamic journey as a Full-time Supply Chain Associate, where every day offers a new opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of supply chain excellence. In addition to managing inventory, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting business-to-business operations by administering procurement, sourcing, and quoting functions that seamlessly meet the needs of our customers and drive the success of their business. This position is for our branch located at 1200 N River Rd NE, Warren, OH 44483. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

• Managing branch inventory levels

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field of study OR have customer service or industry related work experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
