Job summary

Carter’s is seeking a Part Time Sales Manager in New York. You’ll be the first face of the brand for growing families, hosting customers, and showcasing our baby essentials and back-to-school lines.

You’ll mentor team members and drive brand standards, aiming for inclusive, high-quality service on the sales floor. You’ll use product knowledge to boost sales, foster a welcoming environment, and lead by example in coaching staff to deliver an omni-channel experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel, web navigation, and related tools.
• A variety of skills and experiences welcome.
• A high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Become a product and brand expert for Carter’s brands to help families from preemie to size 14.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach others to success while modeling service standards and omni-channel experience.
• Lead and execute an assigned business focus area with planning and follow-through.
• Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities and respond to customer concerns promptly.
• Use customer feedback to identify opportunities and drive results.
• Build customer loyalty through company programs, including credit.
