Job summary

Utica Park Clinic in Broken Arrow, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Float Pool Medical Assistant to support our busy clinic and patient care team. The Medical Assistant will perform administrative and delegated clinical tasks, enter patient history into the EMR, greet patients, take vital signs, sterilize rooms, and assist with referrals and insurance authorizations.

Required: high school diploma or GED, EMR and Microsoft Office knowledge, and BLS certification within 14 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic EMR and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Enter, maintain, and report patient history and claims in the EMR.
• Assist with patient greetings, rooming, vital signs, and clinical information gathering.
• Sterilize instruments and disinfect exam rooms.
• Maintain inventory and stock supplies for exam rooms.
• Process referrals and insurance authorizations and coordinate with pharmacies, labs, and hospitals.
