Job summary

Drybar Shops is hiring a Sales and Operations Manager to oversee salon operations, lead the front of house and business side, and ensure a premium guest experience. This role drives daily performance, sets budgets, coaches stylists, and upholds Drybar standards across the shop.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in salons or upscale hospitality, strong P&L acumen, and a passion for customer service. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervising a team in a salon, spa, luxury retail, boutique fitness, or upscale hospitality setting.
• Proven record of hitting daily sales targets, with retail and membership conversion results you can quantify.
• Experience building schedules and managing labor against a budget.
• Cash handling, credit card reconciliation, and end of day closeout experience.
• Proficiency with booking and POS platforms (Booker strongly preferred).
• Comfortable reading performance reports and turning them into shift actions.
• Working knowledge of a P&L and how daily decisions move it.

Responsibilities

• Manage the shop and leadership team.
• Interview and select high quality candidates, ensuring cultural fit and thorough training.
• Develop relationships with local beauty schools to attract talent.
• Set daily budget goals and monitor performance.
• Coach and provide feedback to team; ensure Drybar standards are met.
• Maximize the shop’s financial potential and optimize P&L.
• Lead with Drybar’s Heart & Soul to drive culture.
• Identify and develop talent for future leadership roles.
• Maintain the visual shop appearance per brand standards.
• Foster safety culture and ensure policy compliance.
• Resolve team member relations and customer issues, safeguarding liability.
