Job summary

PIMCO, a leading global investment manager, seeks an Associate for US GWM Growth Solutions Group in New York. You will support portfolio construction analyses, performance attribution, and develop customized investment solutions for US Private Wealth clients.

The role involves cross-team collaboration, engagement with clients, and contributing to platform vehicle development and fee strategy. Requires 2–4 years in asset/wealth management and FINRA readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or related field.
• 2-4 years’ experience in asset/wealth management with fixed income knowledge.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Able to handle multiple assignments with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, ethical and able to build strong client relationships.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Take and pass FINRA exams (SIE, Series 7, Series 63) within 3 months if not already obtained.
• Strong Excel skills, coding experience (optional), and proficiency with AI-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide portfolio construction analyses, performance attribution commentaries, portfolio/strategy reviews, and build customized investment solutions for clients.
• Partner with teams across multiple business areas to develop Growth Markets platform vehicles and engage with clients for new business development and servicing needs.
• Gain exposure to investment implementation and product development initiatives with direct engagement with Portfolio Management Teams.
• Act as a business owner across Growth Markets vehicles, establishing distribution strategy, evaluating partnerships, optimizing resources, and defining fee strategy across lines.
• Stay well-informed on financial markets and the global economy to support asset/wealth management objectives.
