Job summary

PIMCO in the US Private Wealth arena seeks an Associate/Senior Associate to support Growth Markets with deep fixed income market knowledge and the development of customized investment solutions for clients.

You will partner with Portfolio Management and Client Servicing teams, craft distribution strategies, and help manage resources to align with growth objectives while delivering thoughtful asset allocation guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4‑year institution in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science or related fields.
• 2–4 years’ experience in asset or wealth management with strong fixed income knowledge.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, ethical, and capable of building strong client relationships.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Pass FINRA licensing exams (SIE, Series 7, Series 63) within first 3 months if not already obtained.
• Strong Excel skills, coding experience optional, and proficiency with AI-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical support to clients through portfolio construction analyses, performance attribution, reviews, and customized investment solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop Growth Markets platforms and engage with clients for new business development and servicing.
• Gain exposure to investment implementation and product development with Portfolio Management Teams.
• Act as a business owner across Growth Markets vehicles, shaping distribution strategy and fee structures.
• Remain informed on financial markets, the global economy, and the asset/wealth management industry.
