Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a Marketing and Pursuit Resources Manager to lead the MPR team across the Central Texas/Oklahoma and Gulf Coast subregions. You will partner with operations leaders, technical staff, and business development to drive growth and deliver high-impact proposals.

The ideal candidate brings strategic leadership, proven team management, and a track record in marketing, pursuit strategy, and proposal development.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of relevant, progressively responsible experience, including experience managing others.
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, developing, and motivating team members with varying levels of experience.
• Substantial experience collaborating with operations and business development teams to pre-position and conduct capture planning for must win efforts.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with operational and technical leaders and influence decisions through strong communication, collaboration, and business acumen.
• Exceptional planning, organizational, proofreading, writing, and document quality skills (including formatting), with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage processes, projects, and department initiatives while navigating competing priorities, and collaborating effectively with colleagues and leaders with diverse roles, perspectives, and interpersonal styles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Shapes and oversees the strategic direction for marketing and pursuit efforts company-wide, ensuring alignment with SWCA's long-term goals and market opportunities.
• Provides leadership for high-profile marketing projects, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence.
• Establishes and guides the strategic vision for SWCA's brand identity and presence, ensuring it resonates across diverse markets and platforms.
• Leads strategic market research and analysis initiatives, providing insights that inform business strategy, product development, and competitive positioning.
• Designs and oversees the implementation of advanced analytics and performance measurement frameworks to evaluate the return on investment of marketing strategies.
• Sets and enforces the highest standards for marketing practices and compliance across SWCA, ensuring all activities meet legal, ethical, and quality benchmarks.
• Spearheads innovation in marketing strategies and solutions, encouraging a culture of creativity and experimentation.
• Champions the development of SWCA's Marketing and Pursuit Resources team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Follows applicable federal, Tribal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, and specifications.
