Job summary

People Inc. in New York, NY is seeking a Manager of Growth Marketing Platforms to own email and SMS campaign operations, from setup to deployment. You will coordinate with product, data, editorial, and growth teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality customer experiences.

The role focuses on building targeted campaigns, QA processes, and deliverability to drive user value and growth across channels. Hybrid work is available, with in-office days and remote options.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in email, SMS, and/or mobile app messaging operations, marketing technology, or digital platform management.
• Knowledge of ESPs and notification systems.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across editorial, product, data, and strategy teams.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and holding partners accountable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day email and SMS campaign operations, ensuring flawless execution and timely delivery.
• Build custom user selections and other connected programs for enhanced targeting.
• Scope, build, and launch acquisition and retention campaigns, including journey-based use cases.
• Own QA workflows, including link validation, image rendering, data mapping, triggering effectiveness, journey flows, preview testing, and multi-device checks.
• Monitor real-time send statuses, error queues, and fallback handling to ensure campaigns fire as expected.
