GROWTH MARKETING MANAGER

Position Overview
The Growth Marketing Manager is a dynamic digital strategist and executor who will lead multi-channel marketing initiatives for mission-driven clients. This role is central to ensuring clients meet their growth objectives through high-performing digital campaigns and tight-knit coordination across creative and technical teams. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with social media, email marketing, website optimization, digital analytics, and cross-platform advertising—and knows how to drive results using the tools of the trade. This role requires fluency in digital workflows, excellent client service, and the ability to juggle many priorities without dropping the ball.
Candidates must have prior experience working within a marketing agency or hold a master’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute client growth strategies from concept through reporting, across multiple accounts and campaigns simultaneously
- Fully manage social media programs using Hootsuite—content scheduling, performance tracking, engagement, and optimization
- Plan and send email newsletters using Mailchimp and Go High Level, optimizing for open rates, clicks, and conversion
- Oversee project workflows using Monday.com, assigning tasks, tracking deadlines, and ensuring deliverables are met on time
- Input content and manage SEO using Yoast on WordPress sites built via Elementor; collaborate with designers and developers to implement changes
- Monitor and analyze site performance using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads; make recommendations based on data insights
- Define, place, and optimize digital ad campaigns across Meta, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and Google Search/Display/Performance
- Create meeting agendas, manage timelines, take detailed notes, and ensure consistent follow-up across teams and clients
- Act as primary point of contact between internal staff, contractors, and client teams to ensure excellence in delivery
- Write creative briefs and lead brainstorming sessions to shape strategy and direction
- Draft and edit short-form ad copy and long-form blog posts or institutional press releases in collaboration with writers and account leads
- Manage budgets, track performance data, and proactively identify opportunities for optimization
- Create reports (design, write, analyze) for clients and pitch to them why a different solution or continued effort is required

Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, business, or related field (Master’s degree required if not agency background)
- 5+ years of professional marketing/communications experience
- Prior agency or multi-client experience required unless holding a master’s degree
- Demonstrated success managing high-volume, fast-paced marketing projects
- Prior C suite level/business manager
- Experience managing a team
- Platform Proficiency: Hootsuite, Mailchimp, Go High Level, WordPress (Elementor + Yoast), Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads, and Monday.com
- Data-Driven: Confident using analytics to inform decisions and optimize performance
- Strategic + Tactical: Able to lead high-level planning and also execute with precision
- Clear Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized Operator: Able to juggle 20+ projects at once with grace
- Optimistic Person: Builds relationships easily and communicates with empathy and clarity
- Professional demeanor with the ability to stay calm under pressure
