Job summary

McKinsey & Company in the United States is seeking an analytics professional to join our Growth, Marketing & Sales Practice. You will collaborate with colleagues and clients to design data-driven strategies across marketing, pricing, and sales transformation.

The role focuses on building and applying advanced analytics, transforming data into actionable insights, and guiding client teams through problem solving.

Qualifications

• Undergrad degree in CS, ML, statistics, math, engineering, AI or related field.
• Strong coursework in databases and math (linear algebra, calculus).
• Familiar with data analysis and data mining packages (R, SAS, SPSS, Alteryx, Matlab, STATA, Excel).
• Knowledge of SQL/RDBMS, NoSQL (MongoDB) and big data tech (Hadoop).
• Programming in Python, R, or Java.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau).
• Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills.
• Ability to own database development decisions.
• Strong time management in autonomous environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.
• Flexible with hours and strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to create data-driven strategies across marketing, pricing and promotions.
• Expand analytics capabilities and architect new strategies and applications.
• Lead development of knowledge for the analytics group and guide problem solving.
• Apply advanced analytic tools to derive business insights and improve decisions.
• Work as a core member of the consulting team on broad data sets.
