Job summary

IDEX Corporation is seeking a Director of Corporate Growth to identify growth pathways across its portfolio of industrial platforms. This high-visibility role informs capital deployment decisions by translating market structure, adjacency mapping, and portfolio economics into actionable opportunities.

You will help develop the acquisition pipeline, build investment theses, and partner with leadership to prioritize initiatives and prepare board-ready materials for strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of corporate development/M&A or strategy within industrial or multi-platform businesses.
• Experience sourcing, screening, and valuing acquisition targets.
• Strong market sizing, adjacency analysis and competitive landscape mapping.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
• Experience partnering with executives and cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify growth opportunities across IDEX’s platforms and map build/buy/partner options.
• Develop enterprise-wide acquisition pipeline and investment theses.
• Contribute to valuation, financial modeling, and diligence on opportunities.
• Prepare decision-ready materials for senior leadership and the board.
• Collaborate with finance, commercial, and platform teams to align on priorities.
