Job summary

Lykos Industries, a U.S.-based advanced materials and manufacturing company, seeks a Head of Growth to build and lead business development, sales, and government affairs with the CEO and DoW liaisons. You will own the path from first relationship to paid reorder and help shape policy for distributed repair and sustainment across DoW programs.

The role requires 10+ years in defense or aerospace sustainment and acquisition, existing DoW relationships, and a history of closing multi-million-dollar

Qualifications

• 10+ years in defense or aerospace business development, capture, or sustainment leadership.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain/maintain security clearance.
• Willingness to travel 40–50% and register as a lobbyist if required.
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or senior service school is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build the growth function: set strategy for BD, sales, capture, and gov affairs.
• Land first OEM-authorized part family through qualification to paid reorders.
• Negotiate master agreements and field-of-use licenses with OEMs.
• Shape DoW demand by converting readiness items into funded programs.
• Manage pipeline, forecasts, and inform product roadmap with warfighter feedback.
