Job summary

Pomelo Care is a leading virtual medical practice for women and children, delivering proactive 24/7 care and technology to reach families nationwide.

As part of the Growth team, you will own the health plan partnership pipeline, shape deal strategy, pricing, and contracting with legal/compliance.

You will work cross-functionally with Partnerships and Marketing to align opportunities, messaging, and events for national payers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a client-facing or analytical role; management consulting background strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of healthcare experience, specifically working with health plans.
• Strategic problem solver with project management experience across cross-functional teams.
• Entrepreneurial and driven; able to turn abstract ideas into commercial action in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communicator with executive-level written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive deal strategy with data-driven insights on pipeline effectiveness and conduct deep strategic research on health plan priorities and state policy changes to identify high-value engagement opportunities.
• Source, track, and nurture a robust pipeline of health plan opportunities, focusing on high-potential partners and deal velocity with large national payers.
• Architect high-stakes presentation materials for strategic partnerships, ensuring narratives resonate with health plan stakeholders at all levels.
• Advocate for prospect needs internally and lead cross-functional projects with Partnerships and Marketing to align on opportunities and market messaging.
• Lead the development of pricing models and collaborate with legal/compliance to advance contracting processes.
