Job summary

Abode Money in Austin is seeking a creative producer to own our social video narrative. You’ll write and shoot skits, craft AI-powered edits, and turn podcast moments and team clips into scroll-stopping content for TikTok and Instagram.

Post 3 to 4 times daily, spot trends early, and use data to iterate what resonates. You’ll help bring Abode Money’s mission to help homeowners save on taxes and insurance through engaging creator-led videos.

Qualifications

• Experience creating short-form content for TikTok/Instagram or Reels.
• Available Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
• Able to work in Austin in-person 5 days a week.
• Strong sense of current social media trends.
• Humor and brand-aligned content creation skills.

The Role

Property taxes are the least fun topic in America. Your job is to make them worth watching.

You’ll make skits, AI-powered edits, and trend-driven videos that make people laugh, share them with their parents, and find out they’re overpaying on their home. You’ll run our TikTok and Instagram like a creator.

What You’ll Do

• Write and Shoot Skits: Characters, recurring bits, and street interviews.

• Make Scroll-Stopping Edits: Use AI video, image, and voice tools, and turn podcast episodes and team moments into clips.

• Ride Trends Early: Spot sounds and formats early and put our spin on them the day they break.

• Post Daily: 3 to 4 times a day on TikTok and Instagram, including campaigns that get Gen Z to bring their parents.

• Read the Numbers: Cut what flops and run it back on what hits.

Who You Are

• In Austin or willing to relocate. We work in person 5 days a week.

• Have made short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, or Reels. Your own account counts

• Are available for Fall 2026 or Spring 2027

• Are chronically online and know what’s trending before it peaks

• Are funny, with the posts to prove it

• Have taste. Corporate brand content makes you cringe
