Vortex is a new startup from a team of seasoned founders who have built, scaled, and successfully exited four companies together. As YC alumni, we’re applying everything we’ve learned to build our next breakout success—this time with an even sharper focus on viral growth and product adoption.

We are fully remote, with HQ in San Francisco, and we’re looking for a Growth Hacker to be part of our founding team. This isn’t just a job—it’s an opportunity to own a piece of the company and help shape its trajectory from day one.

What You’ll Do

• Design and execute growth strategies to drive user acquisition, retention, and revenue.

• Experiment with creative growth hacks to optimize conversion funnels and viral loops.

• Leverage SaaS growth tools (automation, analytics, A/B testing, referral programs, etc.).

• Optimize organic and paid acquisition across multiple channels.

• Work alongside product, marketing, and engineering to integrate growth into the product itself.

• Analyze user behavior, iterate quickly, and scale what works.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or product, ideally at both a startup and an at-scale company.

• A deep understanding of growth models, funnels, and customer psychology.

• Experience with SaaS tools for growth, including analytics, automation, and attribution platforms.

• A hacker mindset—someone who finds unconventional ways to grow.

• Data-driven, but willing to take bold bets and experiment rapidly.

• Passion for building something from zero to one and scaling it to millions.
