Champion Container is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in a fast-paced office environment. You will prepare, process, and maintain purchase orders, review documentation, and coordinate with warehouse staff on inventory levels and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process and maintain all aspects of routine Purchase Orders. Review, follow-up and expedite orders as necessary
• Maintain and review purchasing documentation, including PO confirmations and daily receiving
• Assist in the completion of counting, entering and verifying physical inventory counts for daily cycle counts
• Work closely with warehouse and other team members to ensure accurate inventory levels, receiving, deliveries and inter-branch transfers
• Responsible in the approval process and setting up of freight shipments
• Timely and effective communication on purchase orders and deliveries
• Performs related jobs as required in assisting the purchasing team with any administrative functions needed
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all information relation to pricing, sales and customer information
