Job summary

Champion Container is seeking a Packing Supply Manager to oversee core procurement and packing supply processes, driving cost efficiency and supplier performance across the business. You will manage pricing, sourcing, inventory, and collaborate with sales and operations to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include vendor selection, inventory turns, substitutions when needed, and working with sister entities to strengthen buying power. Occasional travel across the US and Canada is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent job experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in similar role.
• Excellent skills with Office Programs.
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally in the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Determine proper vendors that orders should be sourced to.
• Manage Inventory Levels; Responsible for what is stocked, inventory turns and identifying creative substitutions when needed.
• Guide the buyer/purchasing effort to buy optimally from vendors considering cost and inventory implications
