Job summary

Square One, a project management firm, seeks an entry-level Project Manager to join the Austin, TX team. You will assist senior PMs, coordinate with architects and contractors, and help develop plans, schedules, and budgets while staying aligned with Owner interests.

You will gain exposure to project delivery, client interaction, and team leadership, with growth opportunities as you learn PM fundamentals and construction methods in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• No prior experience required; internships or coordination experience are a plus.
• Interest in learning project management fundamentals, construction methods, cost estimating, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers II–IV in coordinating project tasks with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Help develop project plans, track schedules and budgets, and elevate issues as needed.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals under guidance to ensure project alignment and quality.
• Conduct site visits to observe construction progress and quality.
• Support financial tasks including pay applications, invoices, cost tracking, and change orders.
• Prepare meeting notes, monthly reports, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project success.
• Engage in professional development, training, and learning opportunities.
• Understand, adhere and participate in the Health and Safety programs.
