Job summary

Vista Bank seeks a Portfolio Manager II/III to support Middle Market Banking, expanding client relationships and coordinating with Credit, Loan Operations, and Executive Management. You will lead underwriting on loan presentations and assist in structuring large transactions with clients and referrals.

The role requires attention to detail, disciplined work, and the ability to manage a diverse client portfolio while ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in specialty or commercial banking.
• Related specialty banking or finance experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Middle Market Banking business development on identifying prospects regionally and nationally.
• Review and structure large complex transactions, present deals to credit officers.
• Lead underwriting on loan presentations to ensure portfolio growth and success.
• Negotiate credit terms and manage legal documentation with clients and referrals.
• Monitor portfolio through renewals, annual reviews, watch loan reports and ratios.
