Job summary

Amrize seeks a Build For Growth Mechanical Engineer I at the Whitehall Cement Plant in Pennsylvania to support plant operations and participate in a 16-month cement manufacturing learning program.

You will work with suppliers and plant staff to ensure equipment reliability, develop PMRs/BOMs, and drive improvements in maintenance and MTBF while coordinating SAP PMR tasks with planners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–3 years of work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with equipment suppliers and plant staff to ensure plant operation.
• Monitor reliability-based systems including preventive maintenance, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring.
• Develop PMRs and BOMs for new equipment; manage preventive/predictive maintenance programs (Inspection, Vibration, Oil Analysis, NDT, thermography).
• Perform root cause analysis to eliminate repetitive problems using Pareto analysis, FMEA, and similar techniques.
• Support continuous improvements in MTBF and equipment availability.
• Coordinate SAP PMR optimization and development with maintenance planners.
• Provide training and development for maintenance staff on reliability concepts.
